H1N1 shot

Ehh, just spend 5 mins time a day around sick people for light exposure, eventually you will build an immunity on your own. (Joke, I wouldn't try this) But as the theory goes, the reason people get really sick from simple diseases these days is the overuse of antibiotics, antibiotic soaps and disinfectants. You need to allow your self some exposure, otherwise if you do catch it, you have no resistance at all. Actually, this theory is the basis for vaccination.
So true, that`s why todays kids should be playing in the dirt instead spending too much time on the computer.

I only got this because my girlfriend has an auto-immune disease and although I may not show symptoms I can carry the disease. In her case it could be fatal, I don't want to take that chance.

I was just talking to my Father about this, and how kids now a days are sick a lot. Growing up we were rarely sick. And I believe a lot has to do with mild house temps, playing outside, eating well and not being over medicated.

Well I had H1N1, felt really bad for like 8hrs, went to the docter and got some meds and felt perfect after that. I still have a bit of a cough, but feel fine. I think people are blowing swine flu way out of proportion.
this. It's actually LESS FATAL than the seasonal flu. The problem is that more people were getting H1N1, so obviously more people died from it.

It disgusts me that all of the teachers have bottles of anti-bacterial cleanser in the rooms. The kids way overuse it. It was fine when there was no virus outbreak, but seriously, these kinds of people don't deserve to be in the gene pool.

For the mojarity of the population, its really nothing to worry about. Pregnant woman and young children are considered "high risk" because of their compromised or undeveloped immune systems. Most of us mainely subaru folks do not fit into either of those catagories.

Not a bad idea to get the shot. It's not 100% effective, but it sure can't hurt. Got both flu shots this year. Working EMS, I don't want to bring whatever people have home with me.

no shot for me.

I find if their is a sickness wandering, I get very hungry. It must be what grandpa caveman did too.

If one gets sick from flu, may as well get shots for everything.

Speaking of pig, I haven't had bacon with my eggs in awhile.

I get a real laugh out of people that think you can get swine flue from eating pig. I'm not saying your one of them, but its funny none the less.

no way i would give it to my kids and me and wife wont be getting it either. it specifically says on the shot that it has not been tested for saftey for kids under the age of 18 and no way in hell im gonna trust this goverment when they say trust us its ok. 5 years from now they find out there is a major side effect. we have a stock pile of tamiflu wich is all we need
