Hey suckas! I was having some "clarity" issues on my TV due to interference from appliances around my crib. Namely the DVD play and other things that spin (such as the hard drive on my laptop). Also, the fridge, etc... So I've been reading articles and a power filter is highly suggested for flatscreens because i'm guessing they're susceptible to electrical interference.
Anywho... I've been on the hunt for a filter and bought one off of buy.com that was a friggin' HUGE power strip. The thing was easily 2.5' long! WTF! So I returned that one and got an APC C2, two outlet surge protector & power filter:
It cleaned up my picture nicely. It's really small and can tuck away easily. My tv wall mount is too close to put it behind the TV so I put it down on the wall by the power outlet. Plugged the TV into one of the plugs and a power strip into the other. Well worth the $50 and APC makes some good shitte!
