heat shields/ header wrap

my RS had header wrap and a skid plate. the stuff still rotted off!

i'll just let it fall off as it wishes, and maybe do that spray coating. or buy headers

header wrap is basically race car technology. it's nowhere near durable enough to DD use. ceramic coating is the way to go if you can't handle the stock shields rattlin...or are really truly determined that the hose clamp/U-clamp thing is 'too simple' don't laugh, it works.

you think the wrap smoked a lot when new? wait till you get a leetle oil leak going...heh the local fire department will be all over your a**

i'm not laughing at the hose clamp fix, we're doin that to my dads silverado when he gets the clamp. but i already ripped all the shields off and they wen't to the dump months ago. so it's either leave it, or coat it. if i leave it and they break i have an excuse to get real headers
