With all of the upgrades done to the exgine, it needs to be custom tuned, not just reflashed with a standard tune (stage 1,2,3,4,5, 95xtiplus, whatever tune you want to call it). It'll probably take hours with lots of very small adjustments to get it right, by someone who really knows what they're doing.

 
I`m going to put my 2 cents in. First of all my Spec B is stock but I do a lot of reading and research on many built engines. My only comment is 816cc injectors seem to be on the small side for all the power your car makes.

 
please take it to Dent Sport. let them have their way with it, i'm sure they have a better reputation than your previous shop.

 
Depending on where you are in maine/ what your budget is. Your going to either want to go to DSG or M&A. DSG will tune and they can also rip the car apart and fix your issues but that's going to cost big bucks. If you want to save some money get your hardware fixed by M&A and then your software fixed by DSG and you should be in good shape. M&A is the only place in Maine I trust to work on my car and even though my car isn't "stage 5" it has enough stuff that most places would be lost. Once again evergreen is great but I dont think this situation calls for oem help. Sorry if I just repeated everything you guys said

xccelleration already has a really bad rep so anything bad you say as far as the internet world is concerned has already been said. O and I found your car immediatly with google took me maybe 10mins.

I HUGEMONGUS thank U to everyone here for a couple reasons.

First and foremost making me feel welcome here; should I tell U I am a genuine flatlandin city boy (from Boston) who just moved to this area?

Second; The advice here from what I can see is heartfelt and genuine. I have already made some phone calls, sent some emails and taken a few steps to remedy my situation...

BTW Nate... that is great what U wrote.. "stage 5".. I guess stages are all representative of how they are viewed, who is doing the work and what they are capable of. Im still stuck in my Cartman calss three special armor.

I will have this all ironed out eventually and then I can pack the wife, kids and coolor my "stage 5" and molest all the minvans on the way to the beach.

glad you are getting some good guidance here, sounds like you went over the top from 'daily driver' to 'daily tuner.'

surely you must realize that a suby motor making that kinda hp requires only the finest of tuning and daily care. maintenance needs on a car like that are considerable, basically like that of a race or rally car

btdt, I'm part of a reasonably well known rally team and we spend more time wrenching on our rally car than we do actually driving it.

U know for the fun of it I mentioned to Sam at Xcelleration that I would entertain selling it... the wife HATES the contraption and won't get in it... it makes her ***** bounce to much so I figured what the hay.

I have gotten a few emails on it already much to my disbeleif including an offer to trade a 99 M3 plus cash...
