I need some help guys!!!

that's some cool info but i dunno if i trust myself to do that haha I'll probly mess it up and not do it correctly, i'll probly just wait it out no big deal.

Man I would be like uber pissed if a "friend" did this to my car.

You need a good pro tune asap. At the min. get an Accessport or someone on the forums that has a tactric's cable to hook you up.

Then when you reset the ecu again like you did you want have to worry about having to relearn the ecu.

Alright so your running a turboback with the stock tune most likely. Which is very very bad even more so when you get on it. When the previous owner removed his accessport so did your stg 2 reflash. Basicly everytime you boost your probally running really lean = your engine wont last long, damage may already have been done. Get another accessport or a reflash with a tactrix cable asap. Dont drive it hard until you do, I wouldnt even drive it at all.

O and get rid of that ****ing turbo xs bov. that's retarded. The laggy bucking is your aps cai mixed with a vent to atmosphere bov.

U talk to UR "friend " yet about what happened...

From what I have read I would request a very detailed description of how he drove my car and any anomilly he may or may not have noticed whilst driving said car.

I wouldnt blame your friend I mean come on you let him borrow your sti. I let one of my close friends borrow my car and I expected him to redline the *****. Its what these cars are made for and if your friend didnt hes a goat

. What sucks is your car probally wasnt running correctly so he was unknowingly causing damage.

Totally agree's Nate and I didn't mean to sound otherwise.... He was probably in the wrong place at the wrong time with all of this, I would still talk to him and try to use what he remembers to try to piece things together...

yeah...kind of like that day I spent 2 hours repairing a pullstart rope on the rototiller I borrowed from a friend. I hate when that happens.............

I let one of my close friends borrow my car and I expected him to redline the *****.
umm.. yO bRo...can I borrow UR ride for a while...hahahaha

I am not sure I agree with the "i would expect a friend to beat the **** out of my car" theory.

Everyone has different friendships I guess, but jesus.

Personally, I would only let very close friends with some driving experience and appreciation for mechanicals "borrow" a 300hp AWD car. You are only asking for trouble otherwise, as in this case, where he or she decided to engage in what appears to be street racing...I can only imagine the sound of the clutch drops on pavement. I think you are lucky no one was hurt and only your car is worse for the wear.

Enough of the old curmundgoen rant. I hope this all works out in the end and you have learned a lesson.

I actually don't have the turboXS BOV on anymore I got the stock bypass valve on there. Yeah I'm hoping to get an access port by next week, I'll see what happens.
