What temp (Kelvin) are they Caleb?

Sounds 6k plus. Maybe 6-8.. That gives you the purple color. I personally like 5k

They're 6k I may order a 5k. Replacement bulbs.

They will break in a bit too Caleb.  Give it about 100 hours of use, and they come to true temp.  I have 4300 kelvins and love them.  Nice and bright white.  It sounded like 8k to me when you said purple.  6k usually just puts out the blue tint.  Depends on the brand I guess.

Yes, you could use different K bulbs.

I tried slicing it open with a razor blade... there was a lot of blood. I can't seem to find the nail. I got tired of sopping up blood so I stopped.
