In before the close!

I actually have little complaints about the power they have. I have a forester with a dohc and my obs has a SOHC and they both go pretty damn good. Nothing like my xt did, but still not bad at all.

I swapped the 205/70~15s for 205/50~17s on my Legacy Outback, dropped it on Legacy GT struts with 02 WRX springs and tophats, and added a 2 1/4" catback with a non-chambered "muffler". It is pretty quick and corners great. All in all it dropped about 2 1/2 -3". It's nose to nose with my DD Outback on my profile picture. If you swapped for Impreza struts and shorter tires I think you would be happy with the results.

ill look into that, right now im still getting all the quirks worked out, then buy a motorcycle, THEN i'll start looking at more mods

i just noticed you do alignments in your profile, the strut bar i just installed really makes the tie rod on the drivers side noticeably sloppy.

You have to have good steering and suspension to get the most out of your ride. Swaybar bushings and endlinks are a must too. Check the bushings on your rear lateral arms too, they are famous for poor handling. I changed everything on my lowered car and it's super tight in the corners. I was doing 50-60 mph through Bear Peak on the group drive last fall without any bodyroll. Just wish the XT in front of me could have done the same.

i might just do that, the struts in my car are still handling fine, but it just feels like the rear end is disconnected, ball joints are still tight. what cheap mods can i do to help tidy up the handling at stock height?

My wrx is being a sloot as always. Injector plugs are missing a clip, can't find a cv boot, means I need a whole new cv.... Just another project.

I'm making some headway on it ed don't worry lol injectors are in getting that all buttoned back up .. then on to the o2 sensor and first thing tomorrow morning axle seal and axle will get done .. just another weekend at my place

No Subaru for me for a while, just had surgery on my right wrist, shifting will be out of the question for a while

Thanks, I haven't had any pain meds since 5 minutes after I regained consciousness, doesn't hurt just sitting here, but I can't pick up my daughter (or anything really). Might drive mother in laws 3.0 outback tomorrow just for scooby loving

I concur. Going mental not being able to drive my car. Had a hard enough time taking the Blazer a half mile to get ice cream
