In before the close!

Morning Rob!  I've been up since 5am.  I have even been out and replaced my wife's cabin air filter in her Civic.... however, we may be trading it in today for a CR-V.

 
Used.  2009.  Loaded.  66k miles.  We went looking a few weekends ago, but they couldn't fit us into something we wanted.  We really want 2010 or newer, but it didn't quite fit our budget.  Our saleslady is hoping that even though this is a 2009, the fact that it is loaded with all the amenities (leather seats, NAV, moonroof, power everything), that it will make up for the loss of 1 year in model.  Her Civic is an 08, so we were just hoping to upgrade a few years... but we'll see how today goes.  We may end up going with this if we love it.

 
If the brakes are more than 50% worn they are suppose to put new pads on when selling a certifed car. Ask to get a copy of their 100+ point check list.

I've heard so many Subarus drive by my apartment, I've had a hankering to drive mine!! Just a quick trip to the store this time, but more driving later!!! It's a subie kinda day.

 
Is it bad that I feel a little happier ruining a car salesman day but failing the truck they were trying to sell. 06 gmc with a rotted rear crossmember.

 
Time to work on a hybrid! Rear subframe needs to come out to get more bits welded to it, so the rear suspension was disassembled last night. This morning we will be taking the motor and gearbox out to make the subframe lighter to lower it from the car.

Then I need to find some radiator hoses that are close to what we need for this frankenstein front end powertrain. Part Chevy, part Opel, part Sonic, part Passat. There are some more cars in here I'm sure I'm forgetting. I might try and hide some piece of my Suby in there
