following rez off into the hinterlands of eastern maine is the best haha. dunno if i'll be doing it with the BRAND new car, but maybe in a few years. certainly had fun w/ my GTI and a foot of snow through some mountain park thingy in the middle of an ice storm.... sure hope we get good night time snowstorms on the weekends so i'll be up there to play aroundEeh, ahem! Off'n the crapper and back on topic.....
have 2 sets o snows mounted in the basement, ready for instant deployment should the dread Maine Late August or Early Sept Snow Typhoon arrive........street snows if I haveta get to work, and Wicked Knobbly Rally Snows if I gots to follow Rez off into the hinterlands of Eatern ME to go trout fishing in the snow.
remember how my engine bay packed so full of snow the belt started slipping and stalled my car HAHAHA.. lost power and drifted off into the thick stuff, somehow, those graspics got me out of that mess and back on trail! good timeslol i dont know how we didnt get stuckout there that night. that crusty stuff was 3 inxhes thick on 8 inches of snow!!
but the ride in and out on county was fun. give me 8 months of snow and 4 motnhs of october weather and i will be a happy man. F this summer stuff.
im ready for some winter roads again!
