Lots of O/T!!

Well my tax return last year was less than what I had to pay in taxes on the WRX, but it covered 80% or so of it. My taxes last year wear about normal, I think I had a total of about 1200 come back between state and federal. I just got lucky this year. Right purchases, right deductions, right tax bracket, right year.

Be careful out there. I'm sure you know better than I, but exhaustion and chainsaws might be a little dangerous. I realize you have no choice, just try to be safe.

 
Tyanks guys. Yeah I just got home and have to go back in again at 5am for another 17 hour shift. 987687, I saw you're g/f's dad this morning at breakfast, we both agree that you should lift your Legacy!! Haha. But yeah, we are very careful out there, we do get very tired and weak, but we always think stuff out before doing anything. We actually wake up a lot when we drive up and the entire road and wires are engulfed in 100+ foot trees, and we know we are going to have to spend the next few hours cutting it out. I have seen many very very heavy pieces of log go flying way out into the wood because they are under so much tension from the power lines. Believe it or not, those power lines you see everyday, can stretch and hold the weight of a tree right down to the ground!!! It's certainly an experience!! After tomorrow, I'll have 34 hours of O/T for this week already!!! As long as we stay on the 17/7 rotation, we never come of O/T. If this happened all the time, I would be concerned about getting slammed by taxes, but this hardly ever happens, so I'm really not worried about it. I will clear more than double what I usually do in a week, so I'm happy with that!!

It's funny he was talking about lifting my car.HAHA. I told him I got it stuck up a mountain and spent 2 hours getting it out myself. I jacked up the wheels one by one and put logs under them to make a bridge to drive on because I was high-centered...

 
i don't know how well you can persuade asplundhs accountants, but auburns accounting department pays us in 2 checks for more than 20 hrs overtime. they said it's because we get lass tax taken out and it helps at the end of the year. i don't know how much it helps but it can't hurt to ask

Yeah that won't happen. It will be on two checks but just because the week ended.

Finally home!!!!!! After 61 hours of O/T since Sunday, it's finally over!!!! Over 300 poles broken!!! Over 60,000 people that now have their power restored!!! I'm sick of cutting trees of the lines and out of the roads!!

probably just that he has money to be able to get the go fast parts. buutttt don't get Go Fast Bits parts... their stuff sucks.

Not sure if I'll be getting anything or not. I had arrangements to put my bigger turbo on last Saturday, but I had to cancel because I was out working. So hopefully I can get that on soon!!

 
Well I'm back out again!! I'm posting from my co workers lap top right now. Looks like we will be ot all night!! Yay, more O/T!! Makes up for missing yesterday!!
