Mad about a ticket?

Can you say Above the Law. Why is it OK for them to break the law? Lead by example. Hell cops in my town drive drunk all the time and they think it's OK. Welcome to America land of the double standard.

 
boo hoo... damn cops don't realize that it doesn't matter if they work in the 'biz. Law is the law. IMO, they should get even stiffer penalties!

I'm not a prick nor am I pissed at the cop when I get a ticket, they shouldn't be either.

These guys put their life on the line every day, as far as i'm concerned getting out of a few speeding tickets is no big deal. Speeding tickets are just an extra tax by the state at this point anyway, like its really that dangerous to be going 75-80 in a 65 on an uncrowded highway.

Also notice no of them wrote in saying I recieved a DUI........

And as for cops that drive drunk, fudge them I hope they hit a tree and get busted, they give good cops a bad name.

 
This is so ridiculous. Professional Courtesy shouldn't be something that is expected, its just egotistical that they think otherwise. If they don't want a ticket don't break the law!

A portland cop followed me home with his copcar and then did a ebrake turn to go the other way (he didnt put his lights on) I reported it to the city and they basically said f off.

Well to be fair, a lot of the times cops may not use their sirens or lights...say if they want to catch someone in the act of doing something. If they put the sirens on it gives the suspect a heads up that the cops are on the way. but if they don't' use the siren, the cops have a better chance of catching them at the scene. That's probably not what happened in your case, but it's nice to think that he wasn't just trying to be a douche...lol.

well the thing its... 1am leaving gym... he saw me pull on to warren ave at slow speed and go the speed limit 35mph. From the oposite direction he whiped into LFC gym and followed me to the light on forrest ave... then took a right as i did and then took the next light to allen ave as i did.... then followed me to the next light washington ave and stayed in my lane (2 lanes) and followed me to the falmouth line swervvveen and tailgating me then he pulled the ebrake and went back to portland (it was an obvious ebrake my windows were down)... it wasnt my friend he was off that night. ( i think it was the cop who had come to my bike crash that i got in a fight with, he told me i was doing wheelies and tricks when in fact my brakes locked on the front(bad master cyl) and i crashed at 20mph on a turn)

i was in my g35 and not on my cell phone or anything

 
I know there are some cops on these forums and i respect them because they have given me no reason not too but as far as 99% of the cops out there they can go fudge themselves. They think they make the law and are gods of law but what they dont understand is they are the laws little grandma, they honestly on the food chain of johnny law are on the mother LOVING BOTTOM. and those 99% of cops can also all go fudge off. Im serious and now im done

I've never had a cop treat me bad if I wasn't being a dick first. "yes sir, no sir, sorry I won't do it again I was just trying to make good time sir" always works for me. If I was a dick, they'd thank me by being a dick right back. When I'm honest and straight with them, I usually get lucky.

True story:

Cop; do you know why I pulled you over?

me; I was goin' kinda fast back there.

cop; do you know what the speed limit is?

me; 35

cop; do you know how fast you were goin'?

me; when I hit the brakes it said 55.

cop; I'm gonna let you go cause you didn't try to BS me.

Works everytime ;D
