I should have Sundays off form work this summer so I should be able to make these drives and events now!

. The only issue I see with Bensons route, is that its complicated. Theres a lot of important turns, and if people get separated, they'll be really lost. Id still like to go up to Owlshead.

Rt1 between Brunswick and Bath is just a boring two lane divided highway. Sorta like being on RT95.

But the section of rt1 between Bath and Waldoboro really sucks. It already has bad traffic. It's one lane each way, and there's only one uphill passing zone on that whole entire route going north.

Yesterday I drove from Damariscotta to Bath and back , it was pretty heavy traffic flowing at about 45 both ways. It's a seriously not fun stretch of road. By the time we have the drive, there's going to be at least 25 minutes of traffic either side of Wiscasset.

It looks ok I guess on the map, but if you know the roads, it's not.

Benson's route would be pretty awesome. There isn't a lot of traffic up there, and those roads are fun as hell. I'd go on that one.

 
Our fall drives are in the white's, spring is on the coast. Bensons route looks really good, but with group drives, the simpler the better.

 
There are two traffic lights in waldoboro, but that probably won't separate the group too bad.

Thomaston will separate the group pretty bad though, there's a few lights and a lot of turning lanes, stores, traffic, etc.

 
Yeah but there's just as many lights headed towards the white mountains in the fall. It'll be aight. doesn't matter where we go, there are going to be small issues.

 
If we do the drive to owls head, I may go because it's only 40 minuets from me.

I'd just meet up with the group in Waldoboro. From my house it's closer, and MUCH MUCH more fun to take rt32.
