It takes much more then you think to keep this place going. I spend on a minimum of 4-5 hours of daily on this site. Planning get togethers, contact with vendors, working with EG. This place is strangely not self sufficient.

If only I had a laptop with good batteries... We have a slightly old compaq but the charger hole on the back of the comp is separating from the motherboard, and I don't want to solder it back and/or buy a replacement. Basically it takes a lot of effort to get the thing to "plug in" for more than a few seconds, if at all.

Shouldn't take to much effort to re-solder it.

And I can't stand laptops that have bad batteries. I got my macbook for free, and the battery sucked. First thing I did was spend the $60 for a brand new one on ebay.
