That, and don't use that up pipe! That cheap flex joint will come apart and your turbo will eat it. Get a better quality one and weld it in.

 
Yea you're right. I took a look at that today and apparently working 5 11hr days takes its toll on me. Up pipe holes do line up.

Went in to work and installed the exhaust. Welded in a 8 inch section of pipe and a hanger to make it all fit. I honestly hate the can and that'll go soon enough. Car is stupid loud, even more than the rs. Hits 12 lbs or so and backfires a lot. My neighbors hate it!!!

Looks completely RIDICULOUS on that car! I love the backfire part though hahahaha! Gabe had a stock STi full exhaust for sale, would that have worked?

Louder Craig. Mikey was at Portland pie in Westbrook and I did my first ricer fly by while he was inside. Said it was loud.

Ill find something less obviously modded and make that fit.

 
I have two almost new sti catbacks for sale that would give you enough rumble but still keep it subtle

 
dropping from 3" down to 2.5 will be a restriction though. and dont use a flowmaster, chambered mufflers cause backpressure and that's not optimal for turbo cars

 
As ridiculous as that pipe looks and probably sounds, I do agree with Mike about the efficiency of it for what he's planning to do with his setup.

 
It'll be another 3 inch muffler for sure. I'm prob going to have to make the axle back tubing since the kit I got is oddly angled. I just drove it to Waterville and back. Wasn't horrible but loud. Conversations were difficult

 
Picked these up from my buddy rob today. Gave me a great deal and will def improve the legacy. I think I may steal the rota torques from the rs and use those.

Also dropped off my ej25d heads that Mikey donated. My buddy Zach and his dad at Nasco will go through them and see what they may need. Still waiting on my Ecu and injectors to arrive. Once the Ecu gets here its off to get rob-tuned. Just need to figure out a front mount and install the sti front lip sitting on my kitchen table tomorrow.

 
I like the pace of this build. Cant wait to see it lowered with my old wheels. How much longer untill you add a gear and build the motor?

 
Haha. I was actually thinking after all this it'll be inevitable. What size intercooler did you use Dave.

 
Im with mike and rick, cans may be mad vtec yo... But its the most flow youll get from any muffler.
