Mmm for those of you who miss the snow

I should probably get snow tires this winter... Last winter on my tires was.... exciting. And after all my driving they aren't going to be any better this winter.

just watched orig video on my good computer @ work...hate to rain on the parade, but that 'drifiting around on flat ice' stuff looks boring.

plus none of the drivers were any good at making their car rotate as needed, they just understeered around like a bunch of effin snowplows. a couple times they got a little oversteer going, they just spun clean off their original lines. wtf doods, learn to drive on ice, eh?

FAIL to Car & Driver eds as winter hotshots......

What size rims do you have? I got a set of decent snows here that I might be able to give up for a real good price!!!

Off the top of my head I think my tires are 185/70-14. I'll have to double check tomorrow morning.

EDIT: But I'd probably get a separate set of rims anyway so I could swap whenever I wanted. And not have to pay a shop to do it twice a year.

Yeah the tires I have are 14's and they are takeoffs from a Legacy. So hit me up if you wanna look at them.

what is a lake in maine that one could drive on. I have only lived here for 22 years.

last year, I checked the weather, the windows were howling. it was 10 degrees and bangor was quiet as a mouse in wind and snow, a blizzard warning posted. So I drove around of course, it was december 21st, solstice snow. The only chance ever to learn the sube sliding around in a big enough parking lot. one would think there is a place to go like a frozen lake.

I did learn studded skinny little wheels do better than nokians on 15 inch. it actually gets boring at how much they work. My snowmobile slid around more than my sube.
