Moving on up....to JetBlue

HR radness

His royal radness
I've gotten tired of throwing bags for and dealing with rich assholes. I had an interview with JetBlue two days ago and got offered the job as a first officer on the A320 or the E190

A320:

They seem to be a great company, I have two friends that are already there. I start 6 weeks of training on March 19th, eventually I will be commuting out of Portland down to JFK as my base.

It's the best domestic airline to fly on as a passenger by far. Say hello if you see me up front!!

JetBlue was the best airline I have ever flown on. Granted I've only flown on a few airlines, but I like JB the best. and Blue Chips, yum! TV yum!

How many "Top Gun" and "Airplane!" quotes are you allowed to use before you get fired?

p.s. I suggest buzzing the tower on your first days to show em whos boss.

Oh yeah and congrats. Better hours and whatnot?

Congrats man! Yesterday I got a job as the 3rd mate aboard the Schooner Virginia for their winter season. Can you get me discounted tickets to the Caribbean in November?

"You ever been in a cockpit before? "

"No sir, I've never been up in a plane before. "

"You ever seen a grown man naked? "

"You know Jimmy when your dog..."

"Does anyone here speak Jive?"

Oh noes!

I've never flown JetBlue but i've heard a lot of good things about the company and the service. Congrats on the new gig!

I have a USScareways flight next week... eech.

Congrats man! I hear good thing about Jet Blue, and have a friend that just quit his captain's seat in a Citation Ultra to move to jet blue. He amazingly enough got based out of BOS too. Lucky. Looks like a pretty good deal!

" Jimmy, do you like Gladiator movies?"

" Ever seen a grown man naked?"

" Dump all the light we got on the runway!"

" Guess I picked the wrong day to stop sniffin glue."

"What can you make of this?

...a pretty broach, a pteradactyl...."

"This man needs to get to a hospital!

What is it?

Its a big building with lots of sick people."

;D

Congrats Rad-Man. I know you'll like it much better in the new bus. Be safe man.

8) 1st Officer = bus driver in the big sky. 8)

That sounds familiar, I'm a 4 year captain on a beechjet (about the same size as a Citation ultra) and JetBlue is a MUCH better deal overall

What company was he with on the Ultra and when did he start at Jetblue?

Oh and keep the "airplane" lines coming, that NEVER gets old.

Oh and for Trevor: On just about any Jet aircraft there is a two-person crew. A Captain and a first office (used to be called a copilot)r. I'm currently a captain at the company I'm leaving, but you have to start as a first officer (less pay, more work) whenever you start at a new company, even though I have been flying a jet for the last ten years and a captain for 5 of those. I'm actually looking forward to not having all the responsibility for a change
