thanks C, appreciate your efforts to make MS work better 4 me

...but I already threw my cookes on Monday

Works flawlessly and fast on my android tablet.

Tried malwarebytes malware remover? I use that, spybot, avast and zonealarm firewall. With new firefox and site is fast.

Mr. Carter When our other members were having problems with this site mine worked perfectly fine. Now it takes a minute + to change from one forum to another. What did you do brother ?

Plus my smiley faces willnot load up.

Still seems slow at home for me. I already dumped my cookies the day before yesterday, should I do it again? This only happens to me at home, not at work. I have fairpoint at home and at work we are routed through company servers in New Jersey.

do you know how to do a trace route? tracert www.mainelysubarus.com/forums

nigel what browser are you using at work? im using chrome on a mac right now and it's loading fine.

Hmm, I have 6 computers at home, I decided to try my gaming system in the bedroom and it seems to be nice and snappy. Wierd, maybe it has something to do with the home monitoring systems on the PC I keep in the living room. It monitors a WMR 100 weather station, a Xantrex GT 3.3 Solar Power Inverter and a Sky Stream 3.3 wind turbine as well as its own health on two monitors.

I tried Tracert mainelysubarus.com and it gave me 13 hops, mostly with pings around 30, the big one is on BANDWIDTH-CONSULTING-INC.tengigabitethernet.... blah blah blah. It had a ping of 93, 226, 134.

you're streaming all that on your DSL line and you want a webpage to load fast?? Can I ask what DSL package you have?

No, they aren't streaming, they are monitoring through USB and COM ports and I don't share the data on the web, its for personal use. I would assume it was that software except I recently upgraded it to 4 gigs of ram and it ran Mainely Subarus just fine until the upgrade happened the other day. Now, Mainely Subaru's seems to be the only site that runs slow on it. If it continues I will just use the other systems in one of the other rooms I suppose. Its just a matter of convenience because the monitoring PC in the living room is the one I always leave on so it faster and cheaper (on electricity) just to use that one whenever possible.

ahh ok, I get it. So maybe your computer is using too many resources on those monitoring systems and giving MS a back seat
