MS/Team O'Neil Winter Safe School-January 31, 2010

did you post in the wrong thread? attending winter safe school or working the rally?
Kat, the esteemed Mr Dawg is a multi-time repeat offender um I mean student, for these classes. He knows a good thing when he gets it sideways.

Very appropriate signature line for you Dave. I think the last time i saw you out in the snow, I was on the pushing end of your car after you guys highsided on a bank last year.....

so, no you dont need one.

cmon people lets fill this class.

reading the Tow Strap thread...this will reduce your chance of having to use your tow strap to get you out of bad places in the snow.

My mom is telling me I don't need to return the car-kit because I shouldn't be out in the snow anyway...

wtf does that mean?

I doubt she'll let me go to Team O'Neil with this attitude

We live in Maine, not Florida. You will drive at some point when there is snow on the ground. Schools don't cancel straight away when it's snowing. I've had to drive home in the snow when I was in high school due to early cancellations. (granted I lived a half hour away from my high school so it was quite a haul)

Have 'er read that link.

PROTECT YOURSELFMost of the 40,000 fatal accidents on highways could have been avoided if people had better training in car control. The best thing you can do to protect yourself and others riding with you from injury is to practice and prepare as best you can for the unexpected.
I'd be taking this course if I could scrounge together the money. Time to start digging through dumpsters and returning bottles....

When you get a job...how does she think you're going to get there if you can't drive in the snow? There's only a span of maybe 3 weeks out of the entire calendar year when there isn't a chance of snow in Maine.

hahahahha

well my job isn't very far away, and I don't even have to go above 25 unless I take route one.

Plus I'm sure it would be canceled if there was snow. It's Kumon btw, so if the parents all cancel we would have nothing to do.

I have the urge to come watch and take pictures...and laugh as everyone realizes that they're not as good of drivers as they thought they were, hehehe.

I'll try to tell my mom how much of a deal this is for $225. My All-seasons are new this season so they're good, right?
