We live in Maine, not Florida. You will drive at some point when there is snow on the ground. Schools don't cancel straight away when it's snowing. I've had to drive home in the snow when I was in high school due to early cancellations. (granted I lived a half hour away from my high school so it was quite a haul)My mom is telling me I don't need to return the car-kit because I shouldn't be out in the snow anyway...wtf does that mean?
I doubt she'll let me go to Team O'Neil with this attitude.
I'd be taking this course if I could scrounge together the money. Time to start digging through dumpsters and returning bottles....PROTECT YOURSELFMost of the 40,000 fatal accidents on highways could have been avoided if people had better training in car control. The best thing you can do to protect yourself and others riding with you from injury is to practice and prepare as best you can for the unexpected.
When you get a job...how does she think you're going to get there if you can't drive in the snow? There's only a span of maybe 3 weeks out of the entire calendar year when there isn't a chance of snow in Maine. My mom is telling me I don't need to return the car-kit because I shouldn't be out in the snow anyway...wtf does that mean?
