My 94 Legacy Wagon

how extensive was the wiring? complete re-wire? or just some modifications to it?

had to make a small jumper harness to allow me to run dual 2 channel igniters, and then run the 4 channels out of those back to the 2 channel stock coil. used all bullet connectors, so its completly reversable back to stock.

Not to hijack, but I'll have parts coming for my motor shortly and I'll be working on it once classes are out in a couple weeks. I'll have all your parts off to bring back to you soon!

Also, that thing must haul now. When I bring your stuff back, if you aren't busy do you think I could get a ride?

Yeah, it goes pretty good for a old 94 wagon

Dave (urabusturbo) has driven it, and Kyle (westboundjude) has ridden in it too.... Chris (rawfuel3) and i lined up, and from a roll in 2nd to 4th he got me by about a car length with his modded wrx... no bad since this is the 1st tune to come from my tuner.

Heres a few pics of the car since ive added the lip, and the projector fogs i made out of acura integra headlights...

Next, order some 9006 ebay HID's for the fogs and my vanity tag!

soon to come, some new coilovers, Spiider dccd controller, R180 diff install, Brembos, and new paint. That should suffice till i buy forged internals and build a rotated mount GT30R system

Thanks Boys!!

Making headway on my mail order tunes, running 18psi tapering to 15psi on a more aggresive timing map now.... Car is getting quicker everytime i mess with it!

also pulled all my fmic pipes today and painted them wrinkle black, big improvement i think

Also added a 3" exhaust and kartboy shifter bushings to Dave's Legacy SS today while we were waiting for my paint to dry.... Sounds much better then the ghetto fabulous exhaust he had haha

So my new coilovers came today, Zeal Function V6 Inverted monotube

I had bought some ebay special used coilovers off another member, but when i got them home, discovered they were blown. I resealed and refilled them and sold them to another member with a legacy wagon, and he loves them, even though i told him they were blown when i got them, but they appear to be all set after my expert bench reseal/refill job

SO the Zeals... msrp is some $2600 and i got them off nasioc for about a 5th of that, because the seller thought they needed rebuilding, but there was no signs of leaks.

The outer tube where the adjust collars are was really corroded on the inside, causing the monotube strut cartridge to bind and make noise, after dissasembly, i used a cylinder hone and a drill to get rid of all the crap inside the tube, and covered everything with a high performance grease and re assembled them.

Presto! no binding or squeaking while compressing them with the springs off, and compression and rebound are perfect...

Yay for saving $2000 some odd dollars by ripping used coilovers apart haha

Time for install!!!

Oh boy....I can just see it now. Mikes car is going to be faster than Stixxx's car lol!

Zeal's INSTALLED!! Kyle (westboundjude) and i just finished, Huge improvement, same ride hight, car feels much more planted with no boingy ness (lol) Springs are 8k/6k and not harsh at all. I may pick up a set of 10k springs for the front and move the 8k s to the rear, but we will see!

Ha StiXXX wont let my car be faster then his for very long if that happens LOL He will buy a GT40R if that's what it takes to not be beat by a old legacy wagon hahahaha

so, ive found i will be unable to install the r180 sti diff without installing the matching axles and rear hubs, so i bought those... now it looks like i need rear brembo brakes too.... F it, bought the front brembos last night, buying the rears once i find a decent deal....

where does this end? when do i say enoughs enough hahaha ahhhhhh!!!!!!!! this ish is getting expensive!
