Nailman's Ride

snuck up on them in the middle of the night, caught them off guard while they were grazing. scared them into a tight defensive formation. watched them for a little bit, then i went to work.

ok. time for a little update.

as some of you know, i had a VF39 that i got off nasioc, which i was planning on installing this fall. it was ported by deadbolt, and to put it very nicely, the job was foul. it looked like it was done with a hammer and chisel. and it had the wastegate crack. . . .

i found a gentleman on nasioc that was interested in it, and we made a little trade. my 39, for his VF23. the 23 is currently with the fine folks at blouch getting a P&P job, along with a ceramic coating. they gave it a clean bill of health, and will begin the balancing process today.

non rebuildable, which is why i was waiting to mention it until blouch gave it the clean bill of health.

yup, it was oe on the 22b. very quick spool off the shelf, but with the p&p? should be wild.

so do I get to drive your car too?

can someone link me to a list of the different turbos used 'n some info on them? I assume a VF39 is bigger than a VF23 but that's as far as I can get.

ahh so i was right in the fact that it is a ball bearing turbo.... very nice phil.

should be a fun little upgrade.
