Nailman's Ride

the buyer of the car reserves the right to purchase the car with either set of wheels, or both. i will be riding on the bbs's this winter, and if the car doesn't sell, then the summer wheels go back on.

short answer. i dont plan on selling either set.

Pics of the entire car with those wheels?

that is a huge garage

also, the wheels look sick. Are the centercaps on the gold wheels always gold on black like yours?

There's a pair of '04 BBS wheels P/Ced black like those for $800 to anyone else who's interested btw. Its in NY or NJ or something.

18.5, what were you doing that day? Racing some VTACHS? that's not too bad mpgs, its around what I get.

Wish I got that kinda mileage. Of course I do 99% city driving, so I dont put on the types of miles needed to throw the numbers higher.

I would be willing to be on more highway driving I could pull those number.

Honestly, most of the driving i do IS highway. so yea, i bet yours could do the same if not better.

That`s pretty decent mileage for your modded car considering the traffic down in Mass.
I am lucky. working nights, i rarely encounter much traffic. i leave the city at 7am, and dont drive back in until 10pm

Honestly I'm pretty surprised you don't get better than that.. Obviously you drive somewhat hard. I get 23-25 pretty much no matter city/highway, even so with my transmission set that cruises at ~3200rpm @70ish mph on the highway. Then again I drive like an old man 98% of the time.

I'm hoping that once tuned -- leaner and less restrictive -- that my mileage will actually go up.

In my STI with the rotated kit and everything installed I got 32mpg once! That was driving to DSG for a tune and I never got into boost or over 4k rpms though.

Those numbers look just like mine... I drive mostly highway miles to school and back, and get 22-23 MPG. It doesn't seem to change whether it's mostly city or highway anyway...

the cold weather and winter gas isn't helping... Stop racing yourself and you will get better mpg
