so bluntly boring.

the joking wood honda hood was at a time when I was still reworking a 22 year old sube (photo)..it has been welded, fiber filled, grinded, painted, grinded , painted, and then painted and needing a final but with an emphasis on uniquely strong chemistry (paint). My last sube got aviation paint that glowed in the fog.

I still do swear there is a realm of auto manufacturing stabbing my very existence of everything I do. Aside from too much time on the net to believe this, I also got 8 inch wide tread in peacefully, full travel and turns.

 
ah the internetz gives me funnies. That must have taken him a long to time to get the contour of the hood right, as well as the seams to line up.....

 
There is no question that he did a good job... I can appreciate it in terms of craftsmanship, but in terms of aesthetics? ugh...
