i dont know if we have one of these yet, but i think it might be about time.

i, myself, and a big netflix addict, and really enjoy the service.

what are you folks watching? whats good? what to avoid?

i can tell you, i saw "the moon" a couple nights ago, and it was fantastic.

in the process of seeing " a history of violence" right now, and i dont know how this movie ever got past me the first time, but its awesome.

 
I love netflix on my xbox. You go online, pick a movie, and its ready to watch in a few seconds. Freaking Genius.

 
they have top gear, and man vs food, those are usually good when not watching movies.

 
Unless you're getting a high-end blu-ray player with netflix streaming built in, its better (In my opinion) to just buy a PS3 than a dedicated netflix box.

yes sorry, i did mean "moon" and yes, it was pretty darn great. i really liked it

 
saw "my name is bruce" earlier. . .. and while i generally love any movie with bruce campbell in it, this movie was just a little too cheezy for me.

however

i have watrched the first 2 seasons of "californication" over the past couple weeks. now that is a show that is 5 stars. awesome show!!!!

Californication is amazing and terribly under rated. Between the Great Gatsby references of the second season, the other references which you'll soon find out in the third season, along with the ever broken family unit that is Hank's family, the show is set up to be one of the greatest tragedies of our time.

I could teach a psychology or english class on this damn show.

 
so are you finding the cost of NetFlix is decent, and you're not being double billed? We use RedBox and get the majority of our movies from the PawnShop for $2.00 and $3.00 (and YES they are new releases). I'm always afraid to sign up for something that I'd get billed for each month, but if it's cost effective- we may do this- cause we have a PS3 thanks to Exploder.

 
Kati, netflix is awesome. I def feel I am getting my money's worth, and I have never had a billing problem with them.

On a sidenote, I watched master and commander last night. Cool movie!

Been thinking about doing it on my xbox, but I keep on putting it off. My brother has it and I checked out The Fourth Kind the other day. Its about a psychologist, Dr. Abigail Tyler and the events of abduction in Nome, Alaska. Very creepy and intense. This kind of film could make you a believer. Make sure you watch the credits. They play phone recordings and have one from Portland, Me.
