My little bro just got a PS3 so I made sure to ask Netflix for a PS3 streaming-disc. It's really weird... It's just a blu-ray movie, but it uses blu-ray live functions/features to download the actual movies.
I wish it was just software that I could install, but oh well. Still pretty neat.

I've been doing Netflix for years. Love it. About a year ago I bought a Roku box (roku.com) for streaming netflix. Works like a champ. There are other channels available on the Roku beyond Netflix which provide me with enough content to stay entertained.
I cut the cord on TimeWarner Cable over a year ago... don't miss it one bit.

Love netflix. We don't even have cable anymore, just netflix through the ps3.
Nailman, loved Moon, and history of violence. Any david cronenberg movie is great in my book.
Tv shows that are good right now: Dresden files, the IT crowd, better off ted, party down, the day of the trifids and don't forget news radio. Better off ted is friggin' hilarious, if you like arrested devolpment then you will get it. I also like farscape and sanctuary, but I have to watch those when the wife isn't around. She thinks they are too cheesy.
Good movies right now: Cashback, It might get loud, splinterheads, the nines, Nightwatch and daywatch, the host, and let the right one in. I really liked let the right one in, its a must see.

The IT Crowd is still being made?
Freakin hilarious. I loved how the idle video that plays in the DVD menu (when you leave it sitting idle) has all of the characters pitted against each other in a parody of Mortal Kombat, complete with Mortal 'Kombat Theme rip-off.
