Well here is the new little lady in the family.... we have had her for about a week. She is a shelter rescue. Named her sadie.

Yep he is hanging out in his bedroom.

Weird i almost picked her up! My mom's friends were the people looking after her until she found adoption.

yes! i'm looking at aussies/border collies or some mix of the two!

the shelter in portland JUST adopted out a border collie, and a BC aussie mix both about 1 yr old very recently

she's a 4 year old bull terrier mix. in the entire room full of barking dogs freaking out, she just calmly waits for people to come say hi to her. she was pushing her side up against the cage door for us to pet her, didn't bark once, and even sat on command all while still in her cage! it's still a couple months early for me to get a dog, but if anyone wants a goofy loyal friend she seemed like a great dog

 
Dogs are awesome. I hate going into shelters because I feel so bad and want to just take them all home. I got Sadie at the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk. That shelter does a awesome job of getting dogs adopted. they very rarely have a Long Term resident.
