dogs is De Bestest Buds.

had a springer spainel for a long time. such a good dog. other then the hair cuts, it would one of my dogs of choice if i got one again. but it was kinda nice because it meant she got regular baths too.

yeh the $55 grooming jobs get old...but nowhere near as bad as the Dad-administered doghair chop jobs

he's worth a couple hundert a year to keep lookin like a proper spaniel

yah plus she would always come home from the groomer so happy. she loved looking good. (typical little lady) she was always in the woods and water... so we chose to clip her kinda close all over instead of the traditional spaniel cut. worked better that way.

Henri always gets the 'puppy cut' ....keeps him lookin studley and cuts down on the burdock magnet factor. heh, in that pic he's 6 or 7 years old, he's almost 10 now

I highly recommend an Aussie, but they are a little temperamental towards a lot of people they don't know. Almost every Aussie I've been around has growled, and been stand-offish towards other people, but incredibly loyal and protectant of their owners. Mine is like that as well. She is the biggest wimp in the world, but if someone comes to try to pat her, she growls at them. But I have had many people just go and pat her anyway and she just sinks into a little pile of wimpiness on the floor. But she is super smart, and very obedient, and I wouldn't trade her for anything!!
