Nice thread title... And...
Amusing intro, since I don't know you from a broken strut, but I suspect this is some silly fallout from my getting banned by the NAZIOC-esque crew of winners over at NES.
Whatever the case, as long as you're here for legitimate reasons, then welcome. (If you have an ulterior agenda, that'll be clear sooner than later, too.)
...So, onward, eh?
Nice-sounding LGT bro, lets see some pics of the car and motor??
Those are some decent, if older, toys, it seems you cycle through a lot of them quickly, like I tend to do, as well. Short attention spans with expensive toys can be costly, lol!
I have a Honda Foreman 4x4 w/ a plow that I keep around... And a Polaris 90 4x2 pit-wheeler.
Sold my Skeeter bass boat, no time for it, even living upta' Sebago.
I've been looking for a used Raptor to add to the garage for sand pit riding, but no luck yet.
I sold my mint, customized '04 RX-8 w/34K no-rain miles on it this Spring, I bought it new, and was tired of it. Great car though, a Classic in the handling department. Speaking of getting rid of tjings, I sold the '09 Accord coupe that I bought new for my (now) Ex two months ago, I had no need for it (BORING!!) as I anticipated buying a new Toyota truck. Then, I saw the WRX I wound up buying, it was too good a deal, at $6K, with 100K one-owner miles, and in immaculate, OEM condition, to pass up. Paid cash for that one, no-brainer. & I have modded the WRX fairly heavily, and still have not even come CLOSE to OEM "retail" in it. That = Win, in my book.
...A stark contrast to my STI, a giant money pit initially due to severe abuse by the previous owner, "Ken BlockHEAD, Jr.", who beat her SO bad that my STI motor, tranny, & turbo Failed within 100 days of purchase, at 43K miles. The STI, as it sits now, was built out of necessity, not for shits n' giggles, or my desire to wantonly piss away money.
(Though from experience I know it pays to heavily research and only buy the best.)
This is my primary hobby, and I'm blessed enough in these bad economic times, to have a comfortable income, so I'm fortunate enough to be able to dig my way out of modding issues when they arise. Sounds like you can, too, and that's awesome bro, good for you!
I've had several bikes, most recently I had a 100-point 1985 Interceptor VF500R, but it got kicked over in the Old Port, for not being a Harley (sigh) and I sold it instead of restoring it. An '06 GSXR-750 is on order rigt now, & I figure on an Indian, for touring, next Summer-one of the "newer" models, not a Classic, unfortunately. (I dislike Harleys, the "Club" isn't exclusive any more, too many yuppies and dentists, IMO.)
I love your LGT mod list, it's sweet.
My '05 STI is a purpose-built, HQ track car which just happens at the moment, to be street legal.
Three pages of mods on the STI, & it's getting a Full-Race GT30/35R setup, shortly.
The WRX in turn, gets my extra '06, 36K, LGT motor, with a big-ass TMIC, 850injectors, Walboro, the STI's FP Green, WRX heads, STI ECU, (So the AVCS will function) then a (new) '05 STI 6-spd w/ DCCD Pro & Brembos to finish it up.
A decent, 325WHP Winter beater, I'm thinking....
Since you claimed that "I brought you here" and we're supposedly "pals", I'll clue you in: I don't expect some people to understand my builds, but it's Team Ignoramus & Co., and their snarky commentary, that I suffer, not at all, any where. Ever. (Fwiw, I NEVER went in to anyone's thread here or at NES, and bagged on any aspect of anyone's car, ever.)
Anyhow, hope you're here for Subaru talk, your thread title screams otherwise...
If so, hope to see your spankin' LGT at the next meet, if not, then well, I understand...
Take It Easy!
