Not to kill a dead horse here and I know you dont know what it was.  I would put money on the ring lands.

Any plans for the car right off the bat?

 
Does it have a tune? You might be asking for problems... just be weary. Also, I have an hid headlight kicking around somewhere.

Also if you ran a carfax, that should tell you.

 
i'll give you the whole thing for 200 if you want, minus the bulb, the housing itself is 850 at subaru. only thing it doesn't have are the clips underneath the lens where the bumper mounts
