New to Maine

welcome aboard. I'm the local SCCA dirt hooligan. I am the rallycross co-chair, registrar and a safety steward for the New England Region. I organize the annual Team O'Neil Rally and am the worker coordinator for the New England Forest Rally. And I work at Team O'Neil, as does the hubby. Only he has the fun job, he's an instructor, I just answer the phones! Ever wanna get either suby dirty, let me know. I am always willing to corrupt tarmac folks!

I'd love to spend more time on dirt with my car, the only thing preventing me from being more involved with stage rally (which I like a lot more than tarmac) are budgetary and time constraints right now (mainly the costs of running events, more than the car itself). 5 year plan definitely involves a rally car, but it's at the longer end of that 5 year plan unfortunately as I'm just starting my medical residency right now, which isn't exactly conducive to building/campaigning a car

My silver car is not at all setup for use on dirt, the suspension and engine setup is very roadrace specific (big turbo, high power and high rate short travel suspension), so that won't be getting much dirtier than it does driving around town unfortuantely :-P

I'm really hoping to have an opportunity to do a couple programs at the O'Neil school in the next year or two though, I've been eyeing them for a few years and I think I finally live close enough to justify it :-P

Welcome, you will fit right in here.
Thanks! One of the cars I spent a lot of time tinkering with before I moved here was an STI swapped 92x linear. Owner was a bit quirky, but a nice guy and a fun car

If I ever manage to separate the hvac box from the firewall and get the heater core swapped out, you can use my Audi at a rallyX if you're interested.

That'd be great! I love getting seat time in different cars, I'm a big believer in the idea that being an adaptive driver makes you a faster driver

. What model is your Audi?
