I want a ride!

My co wont be back until september, so Dirt drive in october or nov plz. I need to tear down my rear struts and find what I broke last time. You think brand new dspecs would live up to how I drive....

Hmmm....October.....I might be able to make something work. Let me talk to the partner in crime...and see what we can come up with.

usually the road are not to bad but you do come across some rough roads that are rocky, rutted ext, but the rez bros are good at planning the routs to avoid these road as much as possible and these drives are a blast. I would have to say if you like rally at all this is a must go on drive for those who have not been. if your car is a pavement queen don't bring it. I have seen anything from late 90s imprezas to an 08 sti out there

What do these dirt drives consist of as far as road conditions (yeah... besides dirt)
likely to be mud. gravel. stones. washouts you tiptoe over. embedded rocks you DON'T want to straddle unless you have stout skidplates. Your car WILL get stone chips. Heh, a couple years ago it even snowed for an early November dirt drive. In that case you need snows....all-season peeps were landing in the ditches left and right.

these are not race-pace all out runs. they are brisk backroads drives at speeds that will seem quite sporty to those who haven't done this kind of stuff before (25-45 mph maybe don't sound fast but is plenty). people are counted upon to drive within their limits and their car's limits. Even so, bring tow strap, extra clothes, headlamps, tool kits, etc....these are backwoods roads in remote eastern Maine, we ain't goin to the mall ya know!

what nate said, if your car is stock height, it will be fine, my sti at stock height made it just fine and i think that was the lowest car and i've been on i think all of the dirt drives. it's all about having fun and CONTROLLING your car. not ripping the e-brake to induce a slide and then overcorrecting and going into a ditch. Drive to your limits, and you will have a blast! 150 miles of dirt road on the last one

I will have to check that flicker link when I am not on the work computer.... Ugh, it sounds like fun but I don't know if I want to rock chip my baby already lol. Bah!
