Paintball?

Just wondering if anyone here was big in to paintball? I have been playing for about 5 or 6 years now. I play with RangeleyRally_DG and some other friends on a private woodsball course in Rangeley.The past 2 summer's weekends have not cooperated though.

i used to back like 4 years ago play every weekend... Everyone else got out of it (money issues and time) i play ever now and then.. would love to play some more tho.

I've played every weekend this summer except one. I ruined many pairs of boots due to all the wetness this summer.

If there wasn't a game at Field 51 we'd head over to OSG in NH.

We're having "Creep Show III" at Field 51 in Gorham this Saturday.

So far the weather looks decent.

Everyone is welcome to play. Wearing something scary might determine what team you're on. If you're wearing plain ole woods clothes you might end up on "The Humans'" Team. There is also the Vampires, and Zombies. Whatever team you're on you'll end up shooting a bunch of victims!

Field 51 events are pretty dang fun, you should definately check it out. I'll be at the rallycross, so no paintball for me this weekend.

Just sold both my race guns. Saving a few more bucks for something special (timmy?). In the mean time I got subarugeek's old Auto****er. I'm up for a few 3v3.

After the Creep Show III Field51 will have 2-3 more open days til its all over for the season. I'll keep an eye on the other places for indoor stuff.

i used to play at bannets and rouge.. i wanted to try out the new splatz in topsham.. It was in the new Greg Hastlines paint ball game.

Splatz is a great bunch of folks. They've visited us wooders in Gorham. I visited their hockey rink in Topsham, pretty cool. A bunch of the Splatz guys are headed to Field 51 for Creep Show.

Bennet's uses re-balls now, not paintballs. Hard plastic balls that dont break, they hurt 10x more, and people frequently dont call themselves out when hit, because you as the shooter often cant tell if you hit someone. To me watching bright green paint break on someone's goggles is 75% of the fun so using re-balls is no good for me.

Barb and I used to play we built 2 courses in the woods behind our old house. Haven't had the guns out in 3 years the seals are probably all dried up.

My friends and I use mostly Tippmans. I have a 98 Custom with a 16" ceramic barrel, Expansion Chamber, Response Trigger, Cyclone Feed, 32 Degrees Drop Foward and a 24oz CO2 chromoly canister. We play mostly woods ball but we had a friend for a while that built his own indoor course. We used it in winter and did breach senarios. Basically we played our own little version of counterstrike! Been a while since I actually got to play though. I will talk to my friends and see if they are up playing in Gorham. I have a friend that has an X7, 2 A5s and about 6 M98 Customs.

I stopped playing a few years ago. I played tournament speed ball, traveled all around New England playing different tournys. It was mad fun, but seriously expensive. We had sponsors to pay for some of our stuff, but it still wasn't enough. There's just no way I could afford to play now being in school lol. It's an expensive sport if you don't have sponsors and you want to get into the tournament scene.

Those markers are now old school, but still sought after old schoolers.

Glad you got to run the tourneys for awhile. My son wants to do X-ball for awhile with a team based out of Boston or so.NH, but yeah, I can't support him doing that. Plus I'm still working on local sponsorship for the team we're on now.

The Ions did me good for two years. Just sold them last weekend. that's the Superstock I traded for my son's hardly used Prostock. Now if I can sell this beast
