. Yes that's my bro's GC. He sold it a few years ago unfortunately. He needed a truck and couldn't afford to have both. He now drives an 08 Tacoma TRD. I never got to play XBall. When I stopped playing, it was starting to emerge. What team is your son playing for?

I miss paintball so so much. I am totally out of the loop of it all now. Paintball was my life when I played. All my time/money was spent in it. Someday I definitely will get back into it... needed to graduate and focus on school these days

. I regret selling my Midget Halfblock. That thing was totally custom, spent at least 2 grand on it. Shot mint, and kept up with every high end electro out there on the field at the time. I seriously don't know what I was thinking to sell it. I still lose sleep over it!!!!

That is a sick Midget. People are still building them. Autoc)ckers are all done as a company, but people still love them. And these days they are affordable so the average joe like me can afford them. The aftermarket support is still decent. The last of the real Autoc)ckers was the Jeff Orr Special Edition, 2 years ago. Now JT has ruined the name and markers. No more closed bolts. All they have now are cheapy foreign made junk.

However, the new electro-pnuematics, spool valves, and poppet valve guns like Bob Long, MacDev, Planet Eclipse, Dye, are now bullet proof, speedier than ever before, lighter, tighter. And some are making models even I can afford. My son has a 300 dollar Dangerous Power G3. Its cheap, its fast, light, reliable, efficient. I've been blistered by it!

Me and both my boys are on Team51. Its a woodsball team created to do the SPPL tourneys or other similar tournys in the area. However the 10 man woodsball (3 flag in the woods) tournaments never materialized anywhere in New England. Closest one was in NY 2 years ago. So we were going to create a local tournament with many of the local fields involved, but then the economy tanked and the field owners and prospective promoters pulled the plug, at least for now. In the mean time we are still sponsored by Field 51 and we help out there and travel to NH occasionally to help promote the field and PB in general. We're trying to help bridge the gap between rec play and serious stuff...in a fun way

You need a day or two of regular ole walk on play! With a rental! That will take care of your fix.

If I ever play again (which I probably will at some point), I will definitely play X-Ball. I still know a few guys within PSP that could hook me up

I was buying my stuff from actionvillage.com for a long time. They had really good prices and never had a problem.

if you want to try it, I have a couple markers and some gear still. I would probably entertain selling it all as well.

The last game outside this year is at Field 51 Gorham, Dec 11. They are expecting 40-60 people depending on the weather. If it snows there will be a lot. If its raining there will only be 20+. Dress warm.

The Grinches vs. The Santas

*rentals available $25 + $45 for a case of 2000 paintballs and free air fills. Most noobs use about 1000-1500 paintballs first day playing but buying by the bag is more $$. Split a case with someone? I recommend buying a whole case so you can shoot as much as you want.

*your own equipment $15 with free air fills.

*CO2 is being phased out so now it costs $5/fill. Everyone uses high pressure air these days unless you're running a stock class pump. IMHO dont bother with anything cO2. All guns work fine with compressed air.

*be there by 9:30 to get checked in, teamed up, and geared up. Bring extra clothes and lunch.

I've had great service from actionvillage.com and ANSgear.com if you need to buy before you try.

Anyone want a good ol Tippmann 98 with response trigger, stock, electronic hopper, rocket cock, tanks, 12in barrel, blah blah blah? Cheap? I moved onto airsoft now, it's a lot cheaper, and doesn't stain clothing! 15,000 bbs for $25 vs 600 for $60.

I did play paintball with the Army this weekend however, it was nice not having to pay for anything, I think we went through a couple crates of paint.
