Painting rims

im looking to paint my rims and i want to know the best paint to use and the best way to do it.  not looking for a cheap spray paint job

any tips?

I have used duplicolor wheel paint. sand and wash the debris off the rims then do a few coats. seal with duplicolor clear coat.

You can also use a product called plastidip. I've never worked with it.

Prep and more prep .. Plasti dip is easy but it is not easy to take off like they say it is least on wheels

I used duplicolor wheel paint on mine, came out good. Just take your time

I sell a bunch of duplicolor at Napa to people that want to paint rims.  If you take your time, it comes out pretty good.  Gonna paint my spare 18's and sell them soon.  Don't need those huge things!

I did the same thing Dan did, came out well, just don't rush it.

powdercoat, it will never come off and the look is unbeatable

thanks.  pretty sure im gonna try to plstidip it next week.  thinking white would look good with the wr blue​
