Ohhhhh! I thought the Doublecross was the auto-x AND rally-x, 4 or 5 runs each combined. So, Doublecross is the TSD, right?

I've never done a TSD. My son wants to do a TSD. Is there a TSD class the evening before? Is there dirt involved for the RAL tsd? Should we go as a complete rookie team or should we split up and have someone experienced drive for me and a veteran navi for the kid?

No, you were right. Doublecross is 2 runs autocross, and 2 runs rallycross.

TSD is on Friday, different event, and I will Navie for Moody if she so wishes, heheh.

The RAL TSD is not all too challenging. I navied for Moody last year...and we didn't get lost. that's how not challenging it is. You shouldn't need a novice class, Scott usually explains some stuff pretty well beforehand, and if you have specific questions, there are plenty of people to ask. Even I have a fairly good idea of the need to know things of TSD. I've done quite a few over the years.
