1999 Subaru Impreza OBS

Short Back story: Got this car bone stock in January.,Since then I've put a lot of work into it. It took me back and forth to Fort Kent many times and never has let me down.

where my money went:

Engine:

-Short Ram Cold Air intake with K&N filter

-Custom made UEL single port Headers

-Borla Cat-back Exhaut

Drivetrain:

-91 legacy SS VLSD

-Kartboy short shifter with all bushings

Suspension:

-1" front paranoid Fabrications lift 1 1'2" rear.

-WRX wagon rear sway

-KYB GR-2 struts

-3/8 paranoid Fabrications saggy-butt spacers

-Front Strut Tower Bar

Exterior:

-RS sideskirts

-DIY red rally flaps

-2 yellow Hella 500's

-2 Hella 700ff's

-Red subaru Badge

-Debadged Hatch

-Thule roof-racks and Fairing

-Black hood vents

-Roof Basket for spare tire etc.

-Amber Corners

Interior:

-RS dash including white gauges

-RS black/grey checker cloth seats

-RS black/grey checker door panels

-Sony DSX-S100 headunit

-500w MTX jackhammer 10" sub and

-500w MTX terminator amp

Wheels and tires:

-16" 02-03 WRX rims

-215-60-16 Firestone Winterforces

Future plans:

-2" of lift

-some bigger tires

-winch (yes a winch)

-tint

-more skidplates

Keep it clean, keep it alive. Needs more lights though. What are you doin with the forester struts then?

 
well i didnt have forester struts, they were wrx stuts with spacers.. (if i remember right) so im just gunna swap the struts over. they were GR-2s AND I have 2 hellas to be mounted somewhere

 
I was glad to see you walked away from that accident, and it's great to see you back in a Sube so soon! I had an incident like yours, and I can tell you it taught me a thing or too....make sure you learned something.

Awesome! I say lift it! Where did you get the 6 spokes? And remember, the old one has the entire RS driveline. brakes and all!! So you gotta at least keep it off to the side for later. Good to see you got another one

 
So you're able to swap everything you did to your last one over?

Or did a strut/spring assembly get bonkered? I seem to recall you had something other than WRX struts.

Anyway, congrats on scoring the car, and good luck with the mods

pretty much every thing driveline wise is fine, i may be wrong on the wrx struts! but all of them are straight as far as I can see.

the 6 spokes came from the RS I parted oujt a while ago, and i am going to swap over all of thst driveline eventually. i dont think im going to get rid of the silver obs anytime soon

Alright so schools been holding me back a little bit on getting some stuff done BUT I finally installed the GR-2's and 1/2" saggy butt spacers in the rear. The stance is much improved over stock and ride is better. Installed RS checker interior and seats finally, much more comfortable. AND got the Borla on to let out the rumble.

On the to-do list:

-Tint

-light bar with 2 hellas

-Custom made UEL single-port headers

-CAI

-rear-diff bushings

-DGM paint (summer time)

-and maybe someday some kind of low boost FI set-up (keep dreamin)
