Redline Rallycross

car is WAY to low and WAY to stiff and no skid plates or mudflaps. i don't have any tires to run on doing it on my auto x tires doesn't seem like such a good idea. not to mention im poor haha.

unless you want to let me drive your RS kat hahaha.

don't you worry. as soon as im done playing on the tarmac she will go to gravel spec and i'll be playing with you kids the rest of the year. ;D

but the Rallywagon doesn't have any belts in it right now... that and I still need some Upper motor mount fixin' actually thinking about selling my saturns...

 
NOTE:

I have been informed that the normal entrance to the fairgrounds will be closed the weekend of the rallycross. They have established a separate entrance.

Directions to new entrance: (If you need directions from some other way email me)

From August, Route 17, right on to Common Road, drive past the entrance to the fairgrounds, continue into "town", take the immediate right after the Post Office (Route 235) the entrance to the fairgrounds will be .3 of a mile on the right, easy to miss, but the speed limit is ONLY 25 MPH in this area, so you should not miss it cause you won't be speeding!!!!! Right?!?!?!

From the Rockland Area, take the left hand turn onto Route 131, immediate right onto Common Road into "town", take the left just before the post office (Route 235), the entrance to the fairgrounds will be .3 of a mile on the right, easy to miss, but the speed limit is ONLY 25 MPH in this area, so you should not miss it cause you won't be speeding!!!!! Right?!?!?!

The entrance road is a narrow twisty dirt road thru a field, everyone will be driving at no more than 15MPH on that road!!! I don't need to tell you what will happen if you don't! >

Jeremy's depiction is 100% correct. The entrance is just before Ayer Road. They want us to use the area he has labelled as paddock from last year. That area will be nice someday, but right now most of it has branches and stumps sticking up that are not car friendly. I ahve to call the president of the fairgrounds on Tuesday to ask if we can play someplace else. Will keep everyone informed!

In other news:

The new & improved Redline Rally Wagon will be there (with bells... errr... vinyl on). Blix666 and I plan on arriving around 2am on Saturday (I get out of work at 10pm... and it's a 3.5 hour drive) to camp until 7-ish. We will be attending both Saturday and Sunday events, and camping overnight instead of making the trek to Lewiston for sleep. Our friends, Brad & Andrew, should be arriving for one of the events, though we're unsure which.

If anyone would like to join us on Saturday night for some snacks and frosties, you are more than welcome to. Hope to see some new faces, and meet up with some old ones too!

 
i have no time and no ride, but i'm planing on coming up on sunday and hanging out. seems to be the better day where from what i understand it's just a fun day, no points. so im hoping people will be more opening to give rides and such.

if you have a STM sticker on your car you better give me a ride ;D

How adept are you at cutting and bending coil springs? ;D

I need to cut and bend these caddy springs to fit the Audi.

 
i was on the fence, but im defanatly going for at least one day. im not driving my car with a autox the weekend following theres just not enought time to get the car prepaired for both. so im gonna go watch and hopefully catch a few rides here and there if i can.

I'm in the same crappy boat. My snows are going on the wheels my r-compounds are on and I cant put those on until our REALLY late season october event is done with. I'm sure another rally-x will come around that I can compete in. 8)
