I want to at least get something as good as stock and I dont think any of them could offer that. I ended up getting the stage III brake upgrade from CVR motorsports.

4 power slot rotors, hawk hps pads, stainless braided lines, and some "performance brake fluid" for $679.00 shipped.

welcome to the world of STI parts prices.

don't think "subaru, cheap" think more like Volvo/BMW/Mercedes kind of prices.

STI rotors @ $100 isn't bad, considering what you're getting.

expensive high-performance cars are built with expensive high-performance parts.

+12345 for NOT resorting to NAPA/Autozone clone parts junque

be glad you aren't buying Porsche brakes!

Just remember when you go buy rotors for the miata.. NAPA has Brembo blanks for the miata US$11/ea..

what do you have for mods on the STi?

I only ask because "Stage eleventeen" clutches tend to wear out faster in street driving than factory.

Exedy recommended against using a puck clutch on Xrocket's car : http://skism.org/cmc/viewtopic.php?t=1927&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

I think you will be able to read that without signing up over there.

CN's: Had ACT Streetlite, smoked it (fused the disk to pressure plate in 20k street/autoXmiles) ordered new Exedy clutch, called them, they recommend different non puck clutch.

honestly.. you have a ton of miles on your STi right? and the aftermarket clutch lasted less than stock right?

a light upgrade won't kill you, but you would be wasting money if you upgraded any further. you may be rough on the street with your clutch.

that's why I picked the exedy stage 2 ceramatallic. The website said it could handle much more slippage then stock type discs.
