I would like to but will be sleeping then work so I will have to wait and try it next weekend so let me know how it is.

ok so i went and did some recon....

so the first part of the road (up to the Dead River) is all paved. nice road, bit rough in points and would make a good tarmac rally road. after the bridge it turns to dirt, This part is twisty and lots of elevation cahnge but its chewed up and there are some large potholes and bolders (i made it over but a stock hight car would loose something. There there is the worst part. Right after the Spring Lake Rd. I felt like i was in a Jeep, Glad i had 8-10" of ground clearance. However the road redeamed itself right after this. It was wide and smooth with lots of elevation changes L3/R3<OC (<- someone correct this for me)with some blistering straights Best 11 miles of road i have driven. Plus there were more roads on this part to explore, but i was low on gas and didnt want to go to far out here is the section that was amazing!

Also, i wish i had video of this the dust cloud behind me was blinding, at one point came around a left @ ~ 40 and there was a bunny sitting on a narrow bridge at the exit of the corner managed to safely stop gf wakes up and "oooohhhh isn't it cute"

btw found it cool that i can blast down dirt roads sideways, in the air, ect. and my gf can sleep though it lol

Well, I'm not into rock crawling w/o a skid plate....

that's why i would come in from the other side and turn around once we arrived at the rock crawling part, well worth the run in and out, then explore some more roads. Im going to print of some satellite photos of the area and highlight the roads so i can have some references to where we are it is kinda scary to go back in there blind with no cell reception, and being so close to Canada

I'd love to join you guys, once I'm done with my car. That'd probably be in the snow slinging month's though. Still, It's good to have some fellow sand slinger's to mingle with on this sight.

yeah would love to have you come out, bit of a haul from where you are to here but always welcome to have someone crash on my couch for a night!
