Sent home from work! *UPDATE* Hasta la vista.

I'm on mental leave apparently.

Been rather edgy at work, as I've had some big wig safety guys following me around for the past few days, tearing apart everything I do, even when I think I've done everything by the book.

Today I had finally had it, and opened my big fat mouth about how slow they are causing my work to be and my boss sent me home. He was urging me not to come back until monday...pretty much long enough for the safety guys to be long gone.

I've also got this nagging ear infection or something that I got at STPR. Lost the hearing in my left ear...pain in the arse.

So I dunno...I may poke my head in friday to see what's up. I asked for Saturday off to help someone move anyway...*shrug*

*looks around* What the hell am I going to do with the next two days...

I guess I won't see your truck at "perkins" parking lot when I'm on my way home, now I'll know why. :nono: BTW great end-of-week to have a little R&R.

Hmm...meeting with the boss at 9am tomorrow. Apparently he's been on the phone all day today with company big wigs.

Dun da DUN!

I see many hours on jobsinme.com in my future. :nono:

Spose' I should start now. *commence the search!*

Jesus dude. I can't imagine that one incident would result in termination. If you really want to keep the job, you might consider falling on the sword a bit at the meeting tomorrow...

So many OT threads like this....

Tuck your tail and really grovel if you want this job. Tell them you know you screwed up and it won't happen again you've been playing over in your head as to not repeat you error. Also use the ear infection about being cranky maybe he has had one and will sympathize. Of course maybe we are blowing this out of the water and he just wants to talk to you and that will be that. Does he like you ? Praise your work? Have you had safety problems before?

Dude - that's BS. They've got no documentation of subordinate behavior, and unless they can show you an employee handbook stating that what you did is a "one strike offense," you can fight this...if you want to, that is.

They asked if we could go get lunch, and I told them that I was running a few hours behind schedule because of them, and that I wasn't interested in lunch. *shrug*

On the paper I got from my meeting the other day, it mentioned something about only putting 1 glove on as well. I dunno. The head guy is just being a dick according to my boss...
