The original plan was going to be ... semi-all out but simple. Because I decided not to wait (because you never know what could happen in the next half a year), it was sort of a last minute decision and I only had about an afternoon to plan it. It ended up being fairly simple, but I did have her confused as to why I had her doing what she was doing. I did it in front of her family Christmas morning and her Pepere was there, everyone was pleased so I'd say it went well

Congratulations! That's a great moment in life. I've been engaged for over 10 months now. Having a wedding isn't at the top of our priority list. Trying to buy a better home takes precedence.
