35 week update:
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been in the hospital for over a week. I was sent home for like 1 1/2 days, only to be readmitted. This is all due to my bloodwork. I have been having negative trending patterns of high blood pressure, high uric acid, and low blood counts. A lot of this is borderline on preeclampsia, but I do not have it.
They are keeping me in the hospital until I can deliver the babies. The hospital I am at will not deliver me before 36 weeks because there is no NICU. However I do not need to deliver earlier unless something scary shows up in my bloodwork.
The doctor I have is old school, and she would like to see me deliver at 37 weeks.
The babies are super healthy, incredibly active and both head down.
I am betting I will be delivering On February 22nd or so, which is the 36 week mark. I have a couple things going for me to make that happen. Twins develop quicker than a single baby, and females develop quicker than males do as far as lung maturity goes.
Jason has been really great. The babies room is coming together with all of the preowned stuff that people have helped us out with and we are preparing ourselves daily to welcome them into our world.
