Thanks for the heads upHey guys, I was just driving up from mass and there is a speed trap on 95 right near the 295 exit. They have the white van on the overpass and 4-5 cruisers right around the area.
Just a heads up!
Last weekend they sat the van right on top of the southern most Westbrook exit. They hit you with the radar/laser/whatever, and the cops sit on the on ramp and get radio'd the targets.Hey guys, I was just driving up from mass and there is a speed trap on 95 right near the 295 exit. settle down.i hate those traps, seriously, cant cops get a real ****ing job and investage all of the drug action going on rather then give a hoot that we are doing 10 over the "limit"?
I know a few of them and just like the rest of us, they are "told" what to do while they are on the job.but im always topping 80 lol, most of the time with the flow of traffic, and with my 22 foot truck and 20 foot enclosed car trailer with car inside haha.. i just think they could find something better to do then set up a trap is all..
Ya, I was talking to him a few weeks ago (State Police hanger is right across from ours) and he said on a avg day he nails around 80-90 people.i like the Cessna in the summertime over the portland 295 area. now that is a challenging speed trap. . . .
wha? Why?just watch out for any stretch of road with the intermittant white hash marks on the shoulder, and the eye in the sky won't bother ya. oh yea, and what he ^ said
when driving on the highway, you may notice white lines, perpindicular from the solid white line on the right shoulder, that extends off to the side of the rd. they are set at fixed increments, the guy in the plane has a stopwatch, and clocks you from point to point. if you make it before the set time for the speed limit is up, then you are speeding. they call one of the 12 cop cars that are hiding on the onramp a mile up, and they just pull out and grab you. most of the time you will never see the plane, as they fly in a circular orbit above and behind you.wha? Why?
