SPEED TRAP 95 north and south

On the subject of speed traps, also be careful if you take the exit off I-295 to Martin's Point and Rt.1 into Falmouth. It goes from 55mph to 35mph immediately, and then 30mph. It is VERY easy and likely that you will not see the sign and continue on at a reasonable 40-45mph before you see the 30mph sign, and they know it. The used to set up with one car with the radar right after it goes to 30mph, and then a few more pull out of Martin's Point Hospital to nab you as you get on the bridge. They've done it at all different hours, too.
I must be pretty lucky

I go 800-1,000 miles a week, mostly highway. Put the cruise on 75 and cops in speedtraps never bat an eye. Including the airplanes, which I've seen twice this year already.

Yea the plane got me once last year. The tough thing is theres not really any way to spot them.
That would usually be my girlfriend but I fired her because shes horrible at spoting cops.

i've noticed my radar picking up K-band a lot on 95 more than usual. Anyone else catching those too?? im thinking its the signs within the construction area

Good to hear. Just remember that it's not guaranteed to save you or anything. If you have a way of setting your blackberry alert to POIs when they're close to you, do that. That's what I did with our TomTom. It's just sort of in the background.

Signs but don`t get comfortable a smart statie could pick up on this and set up near by running K. Now in Sanford with the construction signs emitting K the cops aren`t that smart they were running KA

so how effective is say a valentine against cops. i know they are pretty much considered top of the line, but do they guard against everything?

Yes, unless you get targeted with LIDAR, in which case it's simply a ticket notifier (most other detectors won't even detect the laser if the cops are remotely good with a LIDAR gun).
