MEIKO IS STILL AVAILABLE!
Hi guys! Just wanted to say that he is still available. It'd be great if someone could consider him as a pet for themselves or an aunt, uncle, mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, best friend's cousin, etc.
Please can you help us by asking around? He is basically maintenance free.
I need to seperate our two dogs, so that Meiko can continue to eat his more expensive food and not have to worry about "Sammy" woofing down 4 bowls. "Sammy" is getting bigger by the day, not only is it embarrassing, but it is truly detrimental to his health.
Meiko would do amazingly well in a home with no other pets. He is very loving, and much like a newborn baby without the diaper changes and crying at night. He is sooooo loveable it's not even funny. I bent down to pick up "Sammy" last night, and he ran from me like usual. You'd think after 2 1/2 yrs that "Sammy" would be receptive to love, but NOPE. Which is heartbreaking.
Looking for: Someone who likes to be active, has a fenced in yard, or if you don't have a fenced in yard- you could purchase a "run" which is a stake that screws in the ground, and has a long cable on it. Someone that preferrably either stays at home or works 1st or 2nd shift. Someone that has had dogs in the past that know what to expect with a newcomber in the home. Someone who is looking for a loving companion.
We took Meiko with us all weekend long, and not once did he snap at another car or bike when driving! I was impressed.
I also want to say that, YES, Meiko isn't a couple month old pup. You don't have to worry about shots or potty training, since that's already been taken care of. All you have to do is love him. He has slept with us in the bed, unrestrained since he has been back, and he just sleeps there, no worrying about him jumping off the bed. He also has slept all through the night not needing to go out- which one night was 12 hours!

he'll sleep in the car during drives, in the passengers lap, and the drivers lap- if the driver allows it.
