I tend to believe that you get what you pay for.[on average] a higher quality product will cost you more...Weather or not you'll notice the differance ,i guess is the question.
My 2c on tires is this,Your abilty to manuver and stop your car is the most important factor while driving.If your gonna go fast you better be able to slow down.This action all takes place on the TIRE's...I would err on the side of caution at tire buying time...whats a few extra bucks per tire when your life depends on them every time out.
I run dedicated summer/winter tires[Dunlop] and would highly recommend both.
