Very fun course, thanks Andy for a great event. You and Peter were absolutely flying, congrats to both of you. :headbang:

 
My wife called me and warned me of the impending doom, right before my last run ..while I had my helmet on. Basically, we got all the cars thru, started to pack the trailor, one lightning strike off in the distance, then the MONSOON started. Not much lightning at all...at least not the kind my wife was describing. Heavy rain mostly.

 
yes, the course was excellent. Thanks a ton to Andy and the CMC. I held the rain off as long as I could, but I'm glad we only got 2 afternoon runs. Even my weather magic has its limitations.

Congradulations to the King and Queen, Peter and Heidi. You guys just keep getting faster and faster. It sure makes it hard to catch you two.

Well i couldn't let Peter beat me again! He's my new barometer, if i'm driving well i'll beat him, if i'm having an off day i wont. I'm pretty convinced he's getting to the pace where he could give John Miller a run for his money in STS!!!

 
id love to have miller come back to see how we compare this year!

No my plan was overruled by the people who left their cars.

The course was about the same only with the middle cut out. I wanted to have some higher speed elements that we hadn't really had in a few events. I executed that part pretty well. Even with a small piece of pavement it's possible to have high corner entry/exit speeds if you lay it out right. If the need arises for me to chair another colisee event this year, i have another few ideas to kick around.

It was a fun day and the timing couldn't have been better with the weather. 4 runs in the morning was awesome!! Thanks Andy! :occasion14:
