Sometimes insurance companies will discount your insurance if you do this Winter Safe school, or Teen Safe Driving school. Call your insurance co. to find out. Ours will be discounting my kids I insure. Plus its wicked fun, and you gets tons of instruction and experience on what to do when the crap hits the fan and you'll learn what to do in those few milliseconds you have to react.

No matter how good you think you are, its best to learn from the Pros. The ice slalom will prove you suck....until you run it with the instructors a few times. Then you will realize driving in the snow and snot should just be done wicked slow or not done at all. All the other freaks out there have not been to Team ONeil.

yeah its totally one of those "man i wish i would have done that when it was offered at a discount" type deals.

do it for your self and the ones you love its totally worth every penny.

 
Sounds really fun. And getting price off my insurance for having fun ... ? It is usually the opposite.

 
if we can get a list of people who are in, and this can grow upwards of 10-12 dedicated people we can pull this off.

maybe an "official" event can be formed and we can start taking a head count and get something together.

 
Any date on this? I'm EXTREMELY busy in the coming months. So the sooner I get a date, the sooner I can say if I can make it, or hold that date.

 
JAN or FEB for sure. and its on a Saturday or a Sunday depending on availability. that why planning for the event would have to take place now.

 
OK, its official.

I have the OK of both Team O and MS to have an official Mainely Subaru Winter Safe School day.

I will post up the date tomorrow, otherwise, here's the DEAL:

There needs to be atleast 12 people sign up and the cost for MS members and family will be $225, yes 225, that is a steep discount for MS members. Once the date is confirmed, you will need to call Team O and pay by cc to reserve your slot. First come first served kiddos.

One of the few dates available is probably SuperBowl Sunday. Is that an issue with anyone?
