yeah, I tried to take it out, but the slave cylinder has lost most of it's compressin so I'm going to have to split the engine and tranny. which is no big deal, I've done it before, a couple times..
the transmission in the SPG right now is one that I rebuilt....the origional split into like three pieces. I was leaving a flashing red light in Lewiston, on the coldest night of the year mind you, went from first gear to second....and.....BANG......grrrrrr...shhh....grind, grind. OH $H!T I ground it in second to get over the hill and coasted down the hill into the DD parking lot on Lisbon St. got out popped the hood, and I could see through my transmission. Typical Saab 5 speed tranny issue, the pinion bearing became loose and the Diff and the main drive shaft hit teeth, and blew the case wide open. I was lucky though, I had a couple buddies who had already rebuilt one. and they helped me through it...along w/ a website.. Twinsaabs.com
