The Annual "When are you gonna put on the snows?" Thread for 2008

steelies and hakkas went on end of October, too cold for michelines at the rx on 11/2, there was snow in VT prior (roads closed) and girl too lazy to change tires over at the event. :glasses9: That, and Chris Regan and Beliveau Jr. were running my car in the Covered bridge TSD that weekend. Wanted my car back in one piece :headbang: wish I hadn't after driving route 17 in VT to get to the rx. the snows sucked, think I scrubbed a season worth of tread off them on that little stretch of driving heaven.

rallydude are you moving back to ME?

 
Sat/Sun. Buddy and I will be doing it in the garage hopefully, less cold. And he has air compressor. Makes it that much easier...

 
I put some air in the tires of the brokeback today and just need to get those tires rotated for it to be all set for winter.

 
Q has snows on one, putting 'em on the passat tomorrow... so long as my mechanic didn't put the summers on too tight for my cordless impact to take off (had my brakes done)

 
already put new tires on back in sept. to pass for a sticker and the wifes ride got new tires this time last year and have 3/4 tread left on them i have to take two new tires off the father in-laws truck we put them on four months ago and he had a msi done two weeks ago and his truck has a hole in the framebut its a toyota tacoma and they ar going to give him 150% of kelly blue book at prime and now i have to find a good suby for him :thumbsup:

I cant believe you found a rust free Q. Sexy beasty!

The snows and WRX 16s went on momma's lego tonight. The Dunlop 3D's are quiet, but also not very aggressive tread. More of an ice looking tire than a digger snow tire.

 
snows are all on.

but one of my wheels/tires has a slow leak.. gonna have to do something about that.. sheet.
