Granny's and Hinson supercar both make cross member kits along with some other dude on the v8rx7 forums. You need a certain oil pan to clear. Then the standard ECU, trans, electric gizmos, etc. The big issue is in the wiring and getting your exhaust to fit.

I've looked into it quite a bit because I want to eventually (read: if I hit the lottery or have money after building other toys) build an FD LS1 tarmac + track slut. The FD's are absolutely beautiful. 20k to do one up right. I'm sure if you got a ratty FC and a 5.3 vortec (10 less hp, bit heavier than the ls1) you could do a budget one for cheaps. People also sell "finished" (I say that loosely) swaps on the v8rx7 forums for much cheaper than the parts that go into it.

 
I would love to have a NICE FC with a 20b (3 rotor) big single turbo. Or just a 20b sitting in my basement for me to touch!

that is one sweet lookin little car. amazing amount of fun for $4k, who can hate that!

this gen RX7 was a direct forefather of the Miata, in that the chassis is light n stiff and really well made. it's like a +1 size Miata w/hardtop and a hatch= triple cool!

Hmmm. Whats the offset on those? Im in the market for some 18's for either mine or the LGT.
